What Happens in Class

1. Weekly Theme & Storytelling Mechanics - Dive into a fresh writing focus—like crafting believable dialogue, exploring speculative worlds, or using letters or diary formats.
2. Guided Examples and Discussion (~20 min) - The instructor breaks down the week’s topic with relatable examples and invites class input—like a low-stakes brainstorm session.
3. Prompt-Based Writing (~20–25 min) - Students use the prompt to write their own short story or scene. They can choose to write it by hand or type it.
4. Optional Sharing & Community Vibe - At the end, students can share aloud—but it’s totally optional. It’s more like teammates cheering than grading.
