What You’ll Need:

A Decent Computer

Resolve is heavy software, so to ensure a smooth experience I’d recommend these computer specifications:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or macOS 11 or higher
  • Ram: 16 GB (minimum 8 GB)
  • Storage: Have at least 100 GB of free space on your computer's storage
  • Display: 1920x1080 resolution or higher

❗Please make sure your computer is powerful enough to run complex software.

The Latest Release of DaVinci Resolve

Currently the latest release of Resolve is: DaVinci Resolve 19 Open Beta 5

Note there are two versions of Resolve, the paid studio version and the free version. For this course you absolutely DO NOT need to pay for Resolve. The free version contains everything that you’ll need to learn the basics of video editing and start making high quality videos.
