TinkerCAD Makers Club
Build, design, and create in a whole new dimension.
Hosted by 1 expert guide
Want to design your own 3D creations in a fun and supportive space? 🎨🚀
With TinkerCAD, you can build characters, inventions, rooms, game-style props, and objects that could be 3D printed. If you like creating, imagining, or figuring out how things work, you’ll feel right at home here.
This class is perfect for kids who enjoy being creative, building things, and trying new ideas—especially if you’ve already learned the basics in an intro course and are ready to make your own projects.

Who is a good fit for this club?
-🎨 Creative Kids & Artists – Turn ideas into 3D art, characters, and scenes
-🎮 Future Game Designers – Start designing objects and thinking like a 3D creator
-🖨️Curious Makers – Design models that could be 3D printed (no printer needed!)
-🛠️ Inventors & Problem Solvers – Build tools, gadgets, and creative solutions
Why Start with TinkerCAD?
TinkerCAD is a beginner-friendly way to start 3D design. While students won’t typically use TinkerCAD models directly in professional games, they will build the foundational skills needed to get there.
##Students learn how to:
- Think in 3D space
- Combine and manipulate shapes
- Plan and build complex designs step-by-step
- Share their projects and ideas
- Gain knowledge and skills with 3D shapes
These are the same core skills used later in tools like Blender, Unity, and Unreal Engine—just in a much more accessible and fun environment. It’s a low-pressure, high-creativity starting point that helps kids move from “I have an idea” to “I made this.”
What to Expect:
Kick Off with Ideas:
We’ll start each session by sharing what we’re building and setting a goal. Whether it’s finishing a design or learning a new tool, this helps you stay focused and inspired!
Design & Build:
You’ll spend most of the session creating in TinkerCAD. Need help with grouping, resizing, or tricky shapes? The teacher is there to guide you, and classmates can share ideas too!
Show & Improve:
Share your designs with the group, get feedback, and discover new ways to make your creations even better. We celebrate progress, creativity, and problem-solving!
Chill & Connect:
The club is a chill safe space to share while we build. During the class we will chat, build, and connect with each other.
What You Need:
- ** A TinkerCAD account** make one at TinkerCAD.com (parent approval for kid accounts can take some time so start the process a few days before class.)
- Completion of an Intro to TinkerCAD course (or basic skills like moving, resizing, grouping, and cutting shapes)
