Spanish Through Conversation
Skip the language apps and have real conversations!
Hosted by 2 expert guides
Imagine stepping off the plane in a Spanish-speaking country, ready to explore and connect with locals, only to freeze up when it’s time to speak. Or maybe you're surrounded by a Spanish-speaking family and wishing you could actually join the conversation instead of just smiling and nodding. Whether it's for travel, culture, or family, not knowing how to speak confidently can leave you feeling stuck and frustrated.
Learning Spanish shouldn’t feel like just another boring language class! Unlike typical apps or endless YouTube videos, this class goes beyond memorizing vocabulary lists and grammar drills. Here, you practice real conversations with practical phrases that can be used right away.
This Spanish class is built around how language is naturally acquired: through listening, interacting, and meaningful use. Rather than focusing on worksheets or isolated grammar lessons, experience Spanish through conversation, visuals, stories, and real-world context.
The guide speaks primarily in Spanish and uses English intentionally when needed to support understanding, give clear directions, and help students feel grounded and confident. Visuals, gestures, repetition, and familiar routines help make the language accessible in a low-pressure way. Conversation topics are shaped by the kids in the class. Their interests, questions, and ideas help guide what we talk about, with the teacher acting as a guide who introduces vocabulary, models language, and keeps conversation flowing in Spanish.
No Spanish required.
Students join with all different levels of Spanish experience, and every level is welcome. Those who already have some Spanish will naturally model what they know and strengthen their skills through review. Students who are brand new will be gently immersed in the language in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Think of it like a family dinner where everyone, no matter their age or experience, gathers around the same table. Everyone contributes. Everyone learns. Everyone belongs.
Common themes may include daily life, food, animals, hobbies, family, emotions, places, and simple storytelling, but the direction of each class is flexible and responsive. Students are encouraged to participate at their own pace by listening first, joining in when ready, and gradually using more Spanish as confidence grows.
The focus is on steady exposure, meaningful interaction, and building comfort with the language over time.
