Course Overview:
Scratch 'n Hack is a fun and relaxed space for Scratch coders to bring their projects to life! Whether you’ve got a project in progress or a cool idea just waiting to get started, this club is the perfect place to dive in. Every week, we’ll hang out, share what we’re working on, and cheer each other on as we create awesome stuff together. You’ll get tips and tricks from a friendly teacher and plenty of time to chat and make new friends who love coding just as much as you do.
What to Expect:
- Kick Off with Goals: We’ll start each session by sharing what we’re working on and what we hope to get done. It’s a great way to set the tone for a productive and creative hour!
- Create & Collaborate: You’ll have plenty of time to dive into your Scratch projects. Need help? No worries—the teacher’s there to lend a hand, and your new friends can pitch in with ideas, too!
- Show & Tell: Share your progress with the group, get feedback, and celebrate all the awesome work you’re doing. It’s all about encouraging each other to keep going and keep growing!
- Chill & Chat: We’ll wrap up each session with some relaxed social time. This is your chance to chat, laugh, and get to know each other better—coding is more fun with friends!
What You Need:
- A Scratch account.
- Basic knowledge of Scratch and at least one project under your belt.
- A project or idea you’re excited to work on.
What You’ll Get:
- A supportive space to work on your projects.
- Helpful tips from your teacher and peers.
- A finished project you’re proud of.
- New friends who love coding as much as you do!

We had a small group today, but focused on an epic side scroller **** is working on, lots of time was spent debugging and discussing variables and for loops. **** also gave some great tips on how I can improve my tower defense game.
