What You'll Do:
- Play and test a rotating set of modded PvP minigames
- Collaborate with Nate and other players to shape the squad’s future
- Practice teamwork, sportsmanship, and constructive feedback
- Participate in regular feedback sessions and suggest new ide to improve the experience for everyone
What You'll Learn:
- Strategic Thinking: Learn how to adapt and problem-solve in fast-paced situations
- Digital Citizenship: Practice positive communication and fair play
- Peer Collaboration: Give and receive feedback to improve the squad experience
- Resilience: Grow through wins, losses, and challenges in a supportive space
What You'll Need:
- A working camera and microphone
- Minecraft Java Edition installed and the permissions to join online servers
- The Essentials Mod installed (we’ll send you a step-by-step guide if you need help)
Before You Join:
This is a closed squad with limited spots. To join, you must:
- Message Christopher or Nate directly to express your interest
- Be ready to answer a few quick questions about your experience, playstyle, and what you’re hoping to get out of the squad
- Agree to the Recess Squad expectations:
- Show up on time with Minecraft launched
- No cheating mods of any kind
- hold yourself and your squadmates accountable to the Recess Values
- Be willing to give and receive constructive feedback
