You've probably seen epic animated bosses, cool weapons, custom blocks and beautiful texture packs before. Now it's your time to shine!

Kev (Kevin) will take you on a journey from total beginner to becoming a pro designer in Blockbench, as we learn about making 3D designs for both Minecraft and other games!

Here's our schedule:

• Mondays: 30 min Class + 30 min Supervision with info and new tools.
• Tuesdays: 60 min Supervision with focus on what we are working on.

• Receive personalized guidance from a professional Game Artist and Youtuber.
• Learn the core skills to make anything in Blockbench.
• Work on exciting projects that test your knowledge and hone your skills.
• Share experiences and form bonds with a community of like-minded peers.

.. how to Prepare your designs for use in Minecraft and other Games...and I will even teach you a few other fun things and special tricks!

• Ability to join sessions on gather.town (The Recess Virtual Universe)
• A working camera and microphone
• Blockbench:
  • Via browser: https://blockbench.net (yes, it's free, and safe to use)
  • Can be installed via the site to your PC

📌 Good to have:

• A Minecraft Account
• Java Minecraft Installed
• Bedrock Minecraft Installed

Working in 3D is all about spatial awareness, geometry and math skills. As we develop into texturing you will also learn to effectively work with colors, lights and shadows to create shapes and details that stand out.

And then as we dive into animations and rigging you will develop a skillful eye and sense for pace, poses, weight and expressions much similar to the art of dancing.

These three talents combined are what brings digital worlds and characters to life, and can enable you an early career in the games industry.
