What you'll do:

Thrive is an experimental game about evolution, where the player guides a species from their origin as a microbe to the space age and beyond. Thrive offers compelling gameplay that respects the players’ intelligence, and remains as accurate as possible in our depiction of known scientific theory.

Each week you will:

• Meet up with the same group of eager beta testers
• Tackle challenges that will help you understand the game better
• Explore, read up on and discuss biology concepts that you encounter in the game

❗You'll need to put in some time to read-up on biology! Be ready to engage with the game and the concepts taught in it beyond the daily meetup.

Concepts Encountered:

• Essential minerals and their functions for the ATP/ADP Cycle
• Concepts that shaped evolution of single-celled organisms
• Core understanding of how evolution works
• Conjecture and criticism
