Every cohort works in slightly different way. Some have a favorite game they play every week. Others rotate every few weeks. Some only play Steam games. Others prefer web and board games.

We buy the games for you. If a cohort plays something on Steam, we'll gift it to your account before your first session.

Every Gaming Club cohort has the game they play in its name. This matters, because some games are only compatible with certain operating systems.

• Steam cohorts need a Steam account (free to make here). Some of the games we play, like PEAK, don't run on Apple or Mac computers at all. If you're on a Mac, pick a cohort that has MAC in the title. Windows computers are compatible with everything.
• Web and board game cohorts run entirely in your browser. No Steam account, no downloads, works on Mac & Windows.

What You'll Do

• Play a rotating lineup of co-op games with the same group each week
• Vote on what your squad plays next
• Team up on challenges that are too big to solve alone
• Talk through what worked and what didn't in short debriefs after each session
• Welcome new players into the group and help them get up to speed

What You'll Learn

• Team Coordination: Make a plan and adjustments as you go
• Clear Communication: Call out important details for your team
• Resilience: Make mistakes, reflect, and try again
• Reading the Room: Notice when a teammate is frustrated or left out, and do something about it
• Group Decision-Making: Disagree, find a middle ground, and commit to a plan together

No worries, we've got you covered. We have specifically designed experience to help kids learn how to use their computer, have fun, and make new friends. Overtime we'll move onto more and more complex games to help you continuously level up your skills.
