French Through Conversation
Skip the language apps and have real conversation!
Hosted by 2 expert guides
Imagine stepping off the plane in a French-speaking country, ready to explore and connect with locals, only to freeze when it’s time to speak. Or maybe you’re surrounded by French-speaking family and wish you could truly join the conversation instead of just smiling and nodding along. Whether it’s for travel, culture, or family, not feeling confident speaking French can leave you feeling stuck and frustrated.
Learning French shouldn’t feel like just another boring language class. Unlike typical apps or endless videos, this class focuses on using French in real, meaningful ways. Learners practice practical language through conversation so they can start using French right away.
This French class is built around how language is naturally acquired: through listening, interaction, and meaningful use. Instead of worksheets or isolated grammar lessons, students experience French through conversation, visuals, stories, and real-world context.
The guide speaks primarily in French and uses English intentionally when needed to support understanding, give clear directions, and help students feel grounded and confident. Visuals, gestures, repetition, and familiar routines help make the language accessible in a low-pressure way.
Conversation topics are shaped by the students in the class. Their interests, questions, and ideas help guide what we talk about, with the guide introducing vocabulary, modeling language, and keeping conversation flowing in French.
Common themes may include daily life, food, animals, hobbies, family, emotions, places, and simple storytelling, but the direction of each class is flexible and responsive. Students are encouraged to participate at their own pace by listening first, joining in when ready, and gradually using more French as confidence grows.
The focus is on steady exposure, meaningful interaction, and building comfort with the language over time.
