New to D&D? This Club Is Built for You.

This club is for kids who are brand new to Dungeons & Dragons. You don’t need to know the rules. You don’t need to have played before. You just need to be ready for an awesome adventure — and maybe a few hilarious goblin moments.
Nervous to Try D&D? You’re Not Alone.
“What if I mess up?”
“What if I don’t get it?”
“What if everyone else already knows what to do?”
We hear this all the time. That’s why this club exists.
You’ll learn while you play — with help, laughs, and no pressure.
You won’t feel behind. You’ll feel like part of the group.
We’ll Help You Learn While You Play
Your Game Master is like your guide — they’ll help you learn the game step by step.
No boring rulebook lectures. You’ll learn while you play — with dragons, dungeons, and dice rolls.
You can ask anything. Everyone here is learning. That’s what makes it fun.
This Is D&D That’s Easy to Learn
The Game Master helps with everything — no experience needed
You’ll learn as you play — no pressure to get it all right
Everyone in your group is new too — you're not the only beginner
There’s room for mistakes, jokes, and wild moments — that’s part of the fun
How It Works (Even If You’ve Never Played)
You’ll play with other kids who are also new. Everyone’s learning together.
Use a premade character we give you — or bring your own if you’ve got one ready to go.
We’ll teach you everything you need while you explore, laugh, and roll the dice.
What You’re NOT Signing Up For
- • Lectures about rules before you can play
- • Worrying you’ll be the only one who’s new
- • A group where everyone already knows everything
What You’ll Get Instead
- • A fun group that learns together from Day 1
- • A Game Master who helps — and makes it fun along the way
- • A chance to go from “I don’t know how” to “this is the best part of my week”

Ready to jump into a campaign where your story matters?
If a seat’s open, you can drop in and play this week. Grab your gear and let’s go.
For Grown-Ups: Why This Matters
If your child has struggled to connect, felt left out, or just hasn’t quite found their people — you’re not alone.
Guild of Imagination on Recess gives kids a place to feel seen, safe, and confident through guided, small-group storytelling.
Led by trained Game Masters, this weekly club is more than just a game. It’s a chance for your child to build friendships, grow socially, and be part of something that actually sticks.
Refund Policy:
Should you ever need to miss a week, just give us 48 hours notice and we'll refund 50% of the session fee after the session takes place to save the seat in class while you're away.
We ask all new players to join 10 minutes early to talk to the DM and get set up with their characters.
