Cobblemon Weekly Social Club

📝 CLUB DESCRIPTION

If you love Minecraft and Pokémon, this is your lucky day! Cobblemon takes everything we love about catching Pokémon mixed with the crafty nature of Minecraft and blends it all together into something amazing! Mine some materials, craft some Poké Balls, and join us in our search for all the Pokémon, including rare shiny versions! Our teachers are excited to help students learn all of the tricks of Cobblemon and work together to build an amazing community.

🎮 CLUB REQUIREMENTS/SUPPLY LIST

• Minecraft Java Edition (PC)
• Cobblemon Mod
• Microsoft Account
• Strong Internet

Upon course enrollment, an email and cohort message with instructions on how to download Cobblemon easily will be included.

❔ MINECRAFT FAQ

What is Java edition and what is Bedrock edition?

• Java edition can only be played on a PC. Bedrock edition is cross-platform (can be played on PC, Switch, Xbox). If you aren't sure which edition your student is playing on, send us a message and we will help you out.

How does my student get a Minecraft account?

• Students just need to have a Microsoft account to login on Minecraft. It is a quick and free to setup.

Are the servers private for these classes?

• Yes, all of our servers are private. That means that only students who are enrolled in the class will be able to access the world where we are playing. There will be no strangers or online chat in our Minecraft worlds.

⚠️ PARENTAL GUIDANCE

• Students need to share their friend codes with teacher or other students to participate in this club. Their in-game name (gamer tag) will be visible during play but will not be accessible after class is over.
• Minecraft is Rated E10+ for Fantasy Violence
• Students will use their own copy of the game and their own online account.
• Cobblemon is an open-source Pokémon mod that is available through Fabric and Forge for Minecraft version 1.20.1 (Java ONLY). Don't worry, we'll send you all the relevant info and instructions once you've registered!
