Bring your Parent to Recess events are all about showing your parent(s) what happens at Recess!

Every month has a different format - this month is a Takeover

This month you will get to experience:

• A special extended Community hour this month our event will be 90 minutes!!
• A showcase of costumes! Show the community what you are dressing up as!
• Special spooky themed events
• An event run by your peers: the Recess Ambassadors!
• Group games hosted by RAs for you to play with your family or just hang out with other kids and guides.

Takeovers vs. Showcases

• A Takeover event means one of the guides or programs at Recess have something to show us! It could be a new game, a puzzle or a meet and greet with our newest provider! This open house style showcase will let you see some of the incredible projects Recess kids are working on AND meet a few of our newest guides!

• A Showcase event means we will be checking out projects presented by kids at Recess. It's a great way to see what other kids at Recess are up to.

What else happens during these events?

You can show off:

• Your favorite rooms in the Recess Space
• Any projects you are working on

Introduce your parents to:

• Your favorite games
• Your friends
• The Recess guides

You may need to help your parents navigate their way, but that's part of the fun!
