Welcome to one hour of creating your own 3D scene in Spline! We are going to build our own objects and put them in a nature scene. We will learn how to work with textures, modeling 3D objects and even animating them. You can then share it with your friends and anyone on the Internet! You can also use these in 3D games that you and your friends make.

What you'll do each week

• Set up your scene
• Add more objects
• Design and texture the objects in your scene
• Animate the objects
• Set up the environment and lights
• Learn how to import and export 3D objects

What you'll need

You will need to create an account on spline.design. Then we will start from scratch and learn the interface. You will only need access to a browser so you can use Spline.

Concepts we will learn

• 3D Modeling - making and handling objects you make in 3D space
• Dioramas - cool static chunks of landscape that you can rotate around
• Spline - tool for designing 3D objects and game worlds in your browser
