Choose your hero. Assemble your party. Go on an adventure.
Five sessions, one week, one complete D&D campaign. Perfect for new and experienced players alike.
Never played before? No problem — your kid will learn everything they need as they play. D&D isn't just a game: it's teamwork, creative problem-solving, public speaking, and quick thinking without it ever feeling like a lesson. Small groups and guided storytelling mean every kid gets a role and a voice.
The exact arc of camp, session by session.
Meet the Game Master and the party. Pick a character, learn their backstory, get the basics of the game.
Navigate tough terrain, face first combat, encounter creatures — and figure out teamwork under pressure.
Explore ancient ruins, solve puzzles, interact with mystical artifacts.
Bigger combat, deeper role-play, and strategy that actually matters.
Final showdown. Everything they've learned, one unforgettable battle.
Runs live D&D campaigns for kids year-round.
Hi! I'm Guild of Imagination's Manager of Virtual Programs, here to help with any questions you may have.
4–6 kids per cohort. Every kid gets seen, heard, and helped by their guide.
Real-time sessions with a real instructor. Not a course your kid will abandon on day two.
You'll get a personal message after day one about how your kid showed up and what they're making, plus a wrap-up at the end.
What actually happens when kids do a Recess camp.
Not a certificate. A real project — a game, a painting, a film, a rocket, a circuit — that they can show off.
4–6 kids per cohort means they actually get to know each other. Most campers come back because they want to see the same crew.
Your kid's guide writes you personally after day one and at the end of camp. You'll know exactly how your kid showed up and what they made.
Camp unlocks their Recess account. If they loved it, there's a year-round community of clubs and projects waiting. No pressure, no auto-charges.
We've got receipts.

Quick answers about how camp works.
Recess is a year-round online community where kids take live classes, build projects, and connect with other kids. Summer camps are one part of what we do. When you sign up for a camp your kid gets a Recess account. You don't need to worry about the rest of the platform right now. Just show up to camp.
Our guides actually do the things they teach. Artists, animators, game developers, engineers, and educators who teach on Recess year-round. They're not reading from a script. They're teaching what they know and love.
Each camp is a series of live online sessions with a small group of kids and a dedicated guide. Your kid shows up, participates, gets real feedback, and builds something by the end. You'll get personal messages from the guide about your kid's progress.
Small. Around 4-6 kids per session so every kid gets real attention and feedback from their guide.
Depends on the camp. Some camps like Painting & Sculpture and D&D require nothing. Others like Animation and Redstone Engineering have prerequisites listed on their course page. Check the "What They'll Need" section for each camp.
That's fine. Most of our camps are built for kids who are trying something for the first time. The guides know how to meet kids where they are.
Every camp lists exactly what's needed on the course page. Some camps require specific software or materials. Make sure your kid has everything ready before camp starts.
Yes. Your kid's guide will send you a personal message after the first day about how your kid showed up, what they're working on, and what stood out. You'll also get a wrap-up message at the end of camp.
Your kid keeps their Recess account. We'll send you some information about what else is available on the platform if you're interested in continuing. No pressure and no automatic charges.
Full refund up to 1 week before camp starts. 50% refund after day 1. No refunds after day 2.
