AI Math Tutor
This isn't a typical tutoring gig. You're taking a student under your wing and helping them become a confident, independent learner. The AI handles the curriculum and personalizes their path through math. Your job is the part AI can't do: reading what a student is actually struggling with, building their confidence on hard things, and teaching them how to learn.

The Pay
Per Student
$70/week
Each student is a holistic, all-week commitment. Your pay covers everything:
- ✓ One hour of live tutoring per week
- ✓ Reviewing and engaging with student work between sessions
- ✓ Ongoing communication with the student throughout the week
- ✓ Parent check-ins and progress updates
Take on as many students as you want. You set your own schedule.
About the Role
The AI handles the curriculum. You handle the student. You're the one who notices when a kid shuts down because they feel behind, or that they learn better through games than worksheets. You figure out what's actually going on and come up with an approach that sits with them emotionally. You point the AI in the right direction, and it does the rest. Building a student's relationship with learning matters more than any single math lesson.
What You'll Do
1. Onboard new students
Run an initial assessment to map where each student is. Set up their learning plan in the AI system and align with their parents on goals and expectations.
2. Run weekly sessions
Check in on how they're doing, not just academically. Notice when confidence is dipping. Teach concepts where they're stuck, and help them get better at using the AI as a learning tool on their own.
3. Keep parents informed
Send regular updates on what their child is working on, where they've improved, and what comes next. Parents should never have to ask how their kid is doing.
